Abigail Ruiz

Abigail grew up in a multicultural household in Milan with an Italian mother and Spanish father who were both professors of anthropology, sparking her early interest in cultural traditions and folklore. After meeting her Japanese husband during her master's program in Cultural Heritage Management, they eventually relocated to Kyoto with their three children, where she balances her remote account management career with passionate documentation of their family's immersive cultural experiences and the disappearing folklore traditions they encounter.
