Allison Bell

Growing up in Louisville with an architect mother and conservation biologist father, Allison developed a unique perspective on the relationship between built and natural environments. After completing her Master's in Urban Design, a solo train journey through Japan's forested mountain villages transformed her understanding of sustainable community planning, inspiring her to document how different cultures balance urban development with natural preservation around the world.
