Amy Scott

Born to a Japanese mother who worked as an astronomy professor and an American father who designed bullet trains, Amy developed a unique perspective bridging Eastern and Western approaches to engineering and nature. After earning her PhD in Transportation Engineering and working on high-speed rail projects across Asia and Europe, she began documenting her travels to engineering marvels and natural wonders, eventually building a following for her technical yet accessible explanations of how infrastructure and landscape interact.
