Aubrey Perkins

After earning her PhD in Educational Technology with a focus on historical preservation, Aubrey left her tenure-track position at Toledo University following a divorce to pursue a year-long research fellowship in Florence. What was meant to be temporary became permanent when she discovered her passion for documenting the intersection of ancient innovation and modern technology. Now developing curriculum remotely for universities while traveling to archaeological sites and technology museums worldwide, she's built a following by making complex historical concepts accessible through her unique lens as both educator and explorer.
