Elijah Diaz

Elijah's dual passion for astronomy and snowboarding emerged during his PhD research on light pollution at mountain observatories, where he discovered pristine slopes just below the telescope facilities. After accepting a research position at the University of Leeds, he began documenting his scientific expeditions to remote winter destinations, eventually building a following that appreciated his unique blend of astrophysics knowledge and adventure sports expertise. Now living with his partner in the UK, he splits his time between university research, observatory visits, and seeking out the world's most perfect combination of powder snow and starry skies.
