Emilia Rice

After a transformative river rafting experience in Peru where she connected with Quechua communities, Emilia left her corporate marketing career to pursue a PhD in Cultural Anthropology focusing on river-based spiritual practices. She funds her research through travel content creation, finding unexpected harmony between academic fieldwork and travel blogging that allows her to document and help preserve traditional practices while making anthropology accessible to a wider audience.
