Emma's passion for extreme environments began during a postal route in rural North Carolina during a record-breaking blizzard, when she realized she thrived in conditions others avoided. After falling in love with an Australian cricket player she met while rock climbing in Colorado, she relocated to Brisbane and began using her postal worker vacation time to seek out the world's harshest climates and most exciting sporting events, documenting her journeys to show that ordinary working people can have extraordinary adventures.
