Gary left his corporate blockchain development job in Washington DC after a diving trip to the Great Barrier Reef opened his eyes to both the beauty of coral ecosystems and their rapid decline. After convincing his partner to join him on a 'trial year' of remote work while traveling, they never looked back, eventually settling in Belfast as a European base while continuing to document coral reefs worldwide, test cocktails, and evaluate destinations for their suitability as digital nomad hubs.
