What began as a three-month break turned into a complete lifestyle change when he realized he could combine his technical writing skills with his newfound passion for maritime travel. Now based in Lincoln, he spends half the year exploring coastal communities worldwide, documenting ferry systems and homestay networks that offer authentic connections to local life.
