Jasmine's journey into travel blogging began after a midlife epiphany when her music production work took her to a remote temple in Thailand where she witnessed a sound healing ceremony that changed her perspective on music and spirituality. Having spent decades producing jazz and blues records in New Orleans before relocating to Reno after Hurricane Katrina, she now uses her trained ear and eye for composition to document the intersection of sound, art, and spirituality across cultures, bringing her teenage daughter along whenever school schedules permit.
