Jennifer discovered her passion for historical preservation while rewiring a 200-year-old distillery as part of her electrical contracting business, becoming fascinated with the craftsmanship and engineering solutions of past eras. After creating a detailed photo documentation of the project that went viral in preservation circles, she began intentionally seeking work in historic buildings and eventually transitioned to part-time electrical work and part-time travel blogging, bringing her son along during school breaks to document America's industrial and colonial history through the lens of craftsmanship and technical innovation.
