John's dual passion for sound and adventure began in the acoustically perfect caves near his grandmother's Moroccan village, where he first recorded the natural reverberations that would influence his music production style. After studying audio engineering in Paris, he left a promising studio position to document the sonic landscapes of remote plateaus and underground caverns, eventually funding his travels by creating unique field recording samples for other producers and partnering with luxury resorts seeking authentic local experiences for their guests.
