Lucas grew up in a Filipino-American household in Henderson where his grandmother's ceramic work sparked his interest in traditional crafts. After earning his MBA and establishing a career in import/export logistics, he began documenting the artisans he met through his work, eventually launching his blog to connect these creators with broader markets. What began as business trips evolved into a passion for exploring the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation, particularly in underground cave workshops and emerging creative districts.
