After witnessing the negative impacts of unregulated tourism while working on development projects in Nepal, Raj pivoted from a corporate career to focus on promoting sustainable travel models. His mixed Indo-Canadian heritage instilled a deep appreciation for cultural exchange, while his master's degree in Urban Development gave him unique insights into how tourism shapes communities, leading him to document the intersection of community spaces, environmental practices, and traveler responsibility.
