Ronald discovered his passion for bridges during a post-college backpacking trip through Europe where he found himself photographing every interesting span he crossed rather than traditional tourist attractions. After five years in corporate sales for a publishing company, he began documenting independent bookstores on weekend trips, which naturally led to exploring local craft breweries nearby. His blog 'Bridges, Books & Brews' started as a personal project but gained a dedicated following when his detailed photo essay on threatened historic bridges in the Pacific Northwest went viral in architecture circles.
