Growing up in a Filipino-American household in California's Central Valley, Samantha developed an early appreciation for the region's lakes and waterways through family weekend trips. After earning her Education Technology degree, she discovered she could combine her passion for teaching with her love of kayaking by creating educational content about water conservation while traveling for EdTech conferences. Now she's built a niche following by showing young professionals how to extend business trips with meaningful outdoor adventures, particularly focused on exploring and protecting the world's freshwater ecosystems.
