Savannah Marshall

Savannah grew up in Hamilton, New Zealand with a Māori mother who taught physical education and a European New Zealander father who worked as a museum curator, instilling in her both a love of physical activity and historical context. After working on the media team for the 2016 Rio Olympics, she became fascinated with how Olympic venues transform cities and communities, leading her to combine her creative director skills with a passion for documenting the intersection of sports tourism, local transportation systems, and wellness traditions around the world.
