Brooklyn's journey into travel blogging began unexpectedly when her culinary career took her to work at a restaurant near Churchill Downs, igniting a passion for the culture surrounding horse racing. After a sabbatical cooking at a Japanese monastery and attending baseball games across Japan, she recognized the profound connections between sporting traditions, spiritual practices, and local cuisine.
