Douglas discovered his passion for botanical photography while documenting efficiency improvements at various manufacturing plants across North America. What began as technical documentation evolved into a deep appreciation for the intersection of natural wonders and human culture. After a transformative trip to Iceland's geothermal areas five years ago, he began intentionally combining his engineering mindset with creative travel documentation, gradually building a following for his unique perspective on natural phenomena and cultural preservation.
