Harper McDonald

Harper's passion for plateau archaeology began during her undergraduate field study in the American Southwest, where she witnessed firsthand how climate patterns preserved ancient artifacts. After earning her PhD in Archaeological Climatology, she accepted a research position at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, relocating with her husband (a hydrologist) and their three children. Now she balances leading research expeditions across the world's major plateau regions with creating educational content that brings her whole family along, turning her scientific work into adventures that inspire both her children and her growing audience.
