Jacob Gomez

Jacob's unique path began when his Spanish mother and Irish father's diplomatic careers exposed him to diverse cultures and climates worldwide. After earning his Master's in Sports Science and Meteorology, he left a promising athletic career following a knee injury to pursue a deeper understanding of how landscape shapes cultural identity. Now based in New Zealand with his partner, he combines his athletic director role with immersive travel experiences that document the intersection of traditional knowledge, weather patterns, and physical challenge.
