Katherine Nelson

Katherine grew up in Marseille where her French mother and Algerian father owned a small boutique hotel, instilling in her both a love of design and hospitality from an early age. After earning her PhD in Architectural Design in Paris, she accepted a teaching position in Oklahoma where she met her American husband, a marine biologist. Their shared passion for adventure, design, and marine conservation evolved into a family travel blog that combines their expertise while showing their two children the world.
