Sean's journey into luxury travel blogging began unexpectedly during a sabbatical researching coral reef degradation in the Maldives, where he stayed at an eco-luxury resort that changed his perspective on sustainable tourism. Realizing he could combine his scientific expertise with his passion for cricket, cable cars, and water sports, he launched his blog to demonstrate how luxury travel could coexist with environmental responsibility, eventually bringing his wife and two children along to show that sustainable luxury family travel is possible.
