Sean James

Born to a Mexican mother who was a traditional partera (midwife) and an American father who worked in wildlife management, Sean developed a unique perspective bridging cultural approaches to birth and nature. After witnessing a difficult birth during a hunting trip where his mother's skills saved both mother and baby, he committed to formal midwifery education while maintaining his connection to wilderness skills, now using his blog to document how these seemingly disparate worlds interconnect through his medical missions to remote communities.
